Croatia
Ahhhh...the sounds of waves, such a peaceful and relaxing time over the Easter break. Shantra and I had the opportunity to be able to travel to Croatia and enjoy the amazing hospitality of the Croatian people and people in general. He provided every step of the way on this adventursome journey I was blessed to be able to take. It was a great time from traveling, to taking walks and hikes, and sitting on the rocks of the Croatian shoreline on the Adriatic Sea. Looking out into the vast ocean allowed the time of just being, thinking, reflecting, and praying. I'm continually thankful for who He is and how He continues to teach, provide, challenge and show up even through my many doubts and questions. What a journey this continues to be.

CoyAfter reading this quote that jumped off the page at me, I've made it a goal to try to daily put this into practice. Often times I take matters into my own hands and try to fix things, make it work, whatever it takes. I'm learning that yes, we do have to put some footwork behind goals we would like to achieve, but at the same time we must also find the balance in waiting and listening to Him, knowing that He will fulfill his purpose for me (Psalm 138:8) So I will continue to try to not abandon what He has planned for me, but to wait patiently, even if it stretches me to the very last minute or second of the timeline that I may have in my head. His plan is so much better than my own, when am I going to learn this?
